Zircon Cricket Academy was founded by Zircon with one conviction: young cricketers in smaller cities deserve the same professional environment as players in the big metros.

Our story

We started with one net, eleven students and a borrowed bowling machine. Today the academy runs four age-group programs on a full-size ground with a five-strip turf square, eight practice lanes, a strength room and a video analysis studio. More importantly, we run cricket the way the professional game runs it — every match scored ball-by-ball, every player's numbers real and verifiable, every development plan written down and reviewed.

Our coaching philosophy

Three principles drive every session:

  • Technique before territory. We would rather a 10-year-old play one beautiful forward defence than slog three boundaries. The runs come later, and they come properly.
  • Measured, not guessed. Selection and promotion at Everest are based on recorded performance — match statistics, graded nets and fitness benchmarks — not on reputation.
  • Whole cricketer, whole person. Punctuality, kit discipline and respect for umpires are coached as deliberately as the cover drive.

What makes us different

Everest is one of the few academies in the region with a complete digital backbone. Parents follow attendance, fees and match performances in a dedicated portal. Coaches set written training goals and match feedback for every student. Our tournaments — the Winter Cup and the Knockout Shield — are scored live, so a season at Everest leaves a player with a genuine statistical record to show selectors.

Safety and welfare

All coaches are first-aid certified and background-verified. Junior sessions maintain a maximum 10:1 player-to-coach ratio, helmets are mandatory against the hard ball at every level, and a physiotherapist attends all tournament match days.
